Community Notices are broadcast - throughout the day and overnight as well - on Radio Kidnappers near the bottom of the hour, free of charge.
This is a 24/7 service, although it may be occasionally interrupted if operational circumstances dictate (eg another longer programme is already playing at the time). One or more notices are randomly picked for each broadcast, and all notices will receive several broadcasts per day!
We welcome your Community Notices! You can get them to us in one of 4 ways:
- Fastest Method: Use our website Form and submit online. Easy!
- Or put it on your letterhead and Fax it to us on 871-0590
- Or Post it to us, again on your letterhead, to P O Box 680, Hastings 4156
- Or Bring your Notice in to us and discuss it with us.
Send us your Notice at least 2 working-days ahead of when you wish it to commence.
Conditions apply. Your notice must qualify as a community notice, and must be signed for. The criteria are set out on our online form (click link above to view these).
Notices not meeting our conditions, including any sent via ordinary email, are not accepted for broadcast unless prior arrangements have been made.
Notices which have been accepted, remain 'current' for a maximum period of 3 months or until the date of the event (whichever is longer), after which they must be resubmitted if continued broadcasts are required.
In case you want to check on the main points of any of the Notices, we list below the summarised details of those which are currently being broadcast. Just the basic facts (what/where/when etc) are shown, as well as any
contact-numbers for further information (if those have been supplied).
(Note that the actual on-air broadcast may contain fuller/further details)
