BROADCAST CONDITIONS:
To use the service, you must be a genuine charitable/community/non-profit-making organisation based in Hawke's Bay (or with a branch here). Notices will also be accepted from other persons or organisations, provided the event or activity is non-profitmaking and of considerable community interest - e.g. family/school/workplace reunions, public gatherings of a political or community nature, or similar - ie items which would typically be found in the 'Public Notices' newspaper columns. If in doubt, ring us first!
Community Notices do not include For-Sale, Lost-and-Found, or similar.
Your notice should be submitted several days prior to broadcast-start. The earlier we receive it, the more times it is likely to be read out.
In fairness to all, we try to limit all notices to a speaking-duration of 30-40secs or less. Therefore please keep your "tell us more" section within reasonable limits (about 200 words maximum), otherwise we will need to abridge your Notice at our discretion, when we voice it.
As detailed elsewhere, Community Notices are broadcast on a random/rotational basis (usually at or near the bottom of the hour) throughout the daytime and overnight, when time and operational circumstances permit. Note that we cannot schedule your notice at a specific time of day.
Radio Kidnappers will take every care to broadcast notices on a best-endeavour basis and in good faith, but can take no responsibility for any separate issues which may arise as a result of broadcast or non-broadcast of this Notice.
