Saturday afternoons: 12noon-6:00pm
DOUBLE-TAKE is where we devote the entire Saturday afternoon to repeating a selection of Radio Kidnappers programmes which have played during the preceding week/s. If you've missed a programme, or want to hear something again, there's a good chance you'll be able to catch it later on DOUBLE-TAKE.
The several programmes which we already repeat at other times during the course of the week, are not included in the DOUBLE-TAKE selection.
We also give preference to repeating weekday programmes (as opposed to weekend ones), as our feedback indicates that our listeners are more likely to have missed these.
Remember that any dates/times/events etc which are mentioned in these repeated programmes may not necessarily be still correct or current.
The programme-times below are approximate. The particular mix of programmes on DOUBLE-TAKE is not finalised until the day prior, and will also vary from week to week. This is because we repeat not only regular weekly programmes but also some which originate only on a fortnightly, monthly or ad hoc basis.
So remember to check the website on Saturday prior to DOUBLE-TAKE for the correct programmes and times for that week. These are also summarised at 12noon, at the beginning of DOUBLE-TAKE, and there is also a recap about halfway through the programme.
Don't forget that many of our programmes are also available for downloading from our website, after they have been broadcast and repeated.
