I started listening to Radio Kidnappers because I was sick of commercial radio's constant advertisements and the same mainstream music repeated ad nauseum. Radio Kidnappers gave me the opportunity to hear a wide variety of music of different genres as well as a range of interviews and without that endless manic advertising! Feeling it was up to me to do my bit in the battle against mainstream blandness, I managed to convince David at Radio Kidnappers to allow me to present a World music show on Monday afternoons.

World music these days includes modern, cosmopolitan music from around the world as well as folk/traditional music that hasn't been influenced by globalisation. Common on the show is traditional and modern African, Middle Eastern, Latin American, and Eastern European music.

Don't spend all your money and carbon on plane travel just to experience another place when you can experience it right here on Radio Kidnappers!
