Hi,

I'm Big Daddy - not my real name, of course. My real name is Biggus Daddius, and I shortened it to Big Daddy (who wouldn't? what an appalling name - Biggus!! - I ask you).

The Big Daddy show has been on-air - on and off - for around 10 years. It is the best of popular music from way back then, up until whenever/wherever the mood takes me.

People often say to me: "why do you do it, Big Daddy?" And I reply: "who wouldn't wanna do it??!!!"   I love it!

Credit, though, has to go to my producer Ken Morrison. He finds all the music for me, all the DID-YOU-KNOWs, and I just sit and play it. (What a guy he is - one of a kind. They broke the mould after they made him. I wouldn't be as well-known as I am, if it hadn't been for him).

I love talking to the fans of local radio too. It makes my day when my old pals Neville, Sid [with the Friday Funny], and Doreen [great pies] call me and pass the time of day ..... keep all those calls coming.
