THE RALLY

news from RIDING FOR THE DISABLED locally, with Ruth Holmes
second Tuesday of each month, at 12:30pm

Hastings Group Riding For The Disabled started broadcasting THE RALLY in April 2007 to create more community awareness of the therapeutic riding that takes place with our clients at the Joan Fernie Centre, 699 Murdoch Road East, Hastings.

Our programme co-ordinator, Ruth Holmes, produces a monthly diary of events and happenings, and also picks out different aspects of our work to talk about on the programme. Sometimes she persuades one of the volunteers to come in and talk about their experiences of working with our clients.

For more information on Hastings Group Riding For The Disabled and how you can help them, you can ring 06 876 9498 or send an email. If you would like general information about Riding For The Disabled throughout New Zealand, you can visit the national website.

Ruth is here each month to tell us all about how the horses and clients are doing
